Ephesians – Week 11
When it comes to men and women, we have been told many things. “Men are from Mars; women are from Venus. Men and women are the same. They are different.” Proclamations and explanations abound, but purpose is always lacking. Whatever men and women are – especially in relation to one another – purpose is the only place to start if our goal is to arrive at an explanation that is worshipful to God, beautiful to us, and flourishing for everyone.
This is the goal of Ephesians 5:15—33. In the context of the body of Jesus Christ, we find our purpose as individuals, couples, families, churches, and humans. Be with us this Sunday as we point to God’s word to rescue the conversation of men and women and apply it to our lives and to our church.
