Isaiah
Tim Armitage   -

When you consider your future, what do you see? Is it hopeful? Frightening? Maybe a little of both? Most of us have a preferred vision of the future—a way we’d like to see things turn out for ourselves and the ones we love. While our vision for the future may often feel like daydreaming, it still informs us of the life we lead in the present. The Old Testament prophet Isaiah was given a vision, not a daydream, but God-given. His vision was full of future hope and change for the present.

Isaiah helps all believers—past, present, and future—to see the wisdom of God’s past guidance applied with hope to present life, for future glory. Don’t miss this Sunday as we learn to pray Isaiah’s powerful visions into our present lives—prayers that lead us to God’s glory and our joy.
