Jesus is Fully Human and Fully God
One of the most powerful things our friends can bring us in tough times is their physical presence. Whether they provide someone to talk to, someone to walk with, or maybe a hug, the gift of physical presence goes a long way in relationships.
Jesus is that kind of friend, too! When he came down from heaven as God in the flesh, he came to walk with us, talk with us, and eat with us. Jesus is uniquely fully human and also fully divine. Our Lord and Savior chose to come down to be with us and sympathize with us. It’s one of the beautiful paradoxes of our faith!
