Joy 2022
Every year we gather during Christmas to speak about unspeakable joy. We celebrate the fact that our God made residence among us. We enjoy meals and traditions in the name of Jesus who humbled Himself on our behalf. Yet we can’t help but lose a little joy when our friends, families, and neighbors don’t find that joy in Jesus. It can be very difficult for us to understand why someone might reject the joy that Jesus offers. Or why some might trade everlasting joy in Christ for fleeting joy in consumerism, legalism, or elitism. While responses may vary, we are confident that Jesus came to Earth to bring joy to all people. Join us this Sunday to joyfully worship Jesus and invite Him to turn our hearts towards the people of our city.
