What is our only hope in life and death?

We gather each Sunday to celebrate the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We also celebrate his continued work in our lives. Those are amazing things to celebrate! But often we doubt and celebrating becomes difficult. Living a life of faith means there will be times of doubt. It also means we must take intentional steps to build bulwarks against the soul-eroding effects of doubt. This is not an action promoted by fear but by wisdom.

For centuries, the practices of faith protection and enhancement have been called “catechisms” -- an ancient practice with modern impact. Catechism simply means sharing the truths of the Bible in community with one another. It is encouraging one another with the truths found in scripture.

This week we begin the intentional encouragement of catechism but in a way that will likely surprise you. This summer will be filled with easily applied truths for all ages, artwork to inspire and amaze, personal stories of intentional living, and tools and resources to equip us for a lifetime of following Christ. It is going to be an amazing summer!
