What sort of Redeemer is needed to bring us back to God?

The character and nature of God is the highest goal and best pursuit anyone could ever undertake. There are, however, pitfalls in the pursuit. God’s perfection, explained in scripture, can be difficult for us to grasp; leaving us at times with a sense of disconnection from God in our everyday lives.

This Sunday’s topic speaks directly to this perceived distance between us and a holy God. In Jesus, God’s perfection became human to identify with and redeem his people. In this miracle we call the Incarnation, the seemingly unattainable perfection of God walks among us so that we may draw near to him and experience God’s presence in a personal and powerful way.
