Psalm 23:3 (Audio)
We continue our journey in Psalms 23 and unpack the riches found in verse three. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
It was not uncommon for a sheep that was weighted down with a heavy coat of wool to fall on their back, unable to get up. Death was certain until the shepherd came to the rescue by restoring the sheep to the upright position. We all stumble and desperately need the Shepherd to restore our very soul. It is then the shepherd can lead us on the right path.
