Sabbath
What is your day off? You know, the day you don’t go into the office or have class. Maybe it includes going to church. Here’s a good question, what do you do on that day off? Is it full of rest and worship? Or is it catch-up day; the day all the errands and shopping get done? Do you feel like your day off gives you a head start or just helps you claw your way back to the starting line for another full week?
A day or two off is a great thing but it isn’t sabbath. The Bible tells us that God’s design for humans is to experience a day separate from other days that reorient our hearts, minds, schedules, and relationships toward worship – worship that comes from resting in the person and work of Jesus.
Join us Sunday as we complete our series on sabbath. You will leave equipped with how God wants the rhythms of your life to run. Not just more rested but more human.
