Sabbath Grace
What do you find restful? Watching the game or reading a book? Time with a good friend or a walk in the park? How about a nap on the couch? Rest can be subjective. One person’s recharge is another person’s drain.
In Matthew 11, Jesus talks about giving rest to those who follow him—his apprentices. I doubt Jesus had anything against leisure time, but that’s not the only kind of rest Jesus gives.
