The Book of James 2:14-26

Would you describe yourself as a person of faith? If so, how would you describe that faith? Would you talk about the things you believe and think? Would you talk about the things you do and prioritize? Would one feel more important than the other? Most of us say we are people of faith, but “faith” can be difficult to describe.

James is a book about faith – not necessarily how to have faith but what you do when faith is given to you. James is concerned with a living and active faith. James 2:14—26 answers our questions about faith and what our hearts and church should look like when our external life matches our internal beliefs. The answer James gives is wholeness; complete lives full of joy and generosity.

Join us Sunday as we continue to pursue the wisdom of James together and experience the joy that comes from a life aligned with our faith.
