Many books, stories, plays, and daydreams have been created over the years with this question in mind: “What would it be like to sit and talk face-to-face with Jesus?” You have probably even wondered this many times yourself. Do you know what you would say or ask? You could probably ask questions for days!
Have you ever considered the questions Jesus might ask you? Questions not driven by the wonder for an answer, but questions posed for reflection. Two such questions are asked in the first chapter of The Gospel of John.
This Sunday we begin a study of John where we will be asked two questions. Our answers will shape the hope and purpose of our lives.
