The Grace of Marriage
God has a beautiful plan for marriage as an earthly, relational example of the gospel. Marriage is designed to point individuals, families, and communities to the redeeming love of Jesus. These are the things marriage is supposed to do. But what do we think when marriage goes wrong—or if we’re not married in the first place?
The Bible tells us that marriage and family are pictures of Jesus and His church. So, when the ideals of marriage and family fall short, the grace of God, expressed through the family of God, is called to lovingly, though imperfectly, fill in the gaps.
