Thinking About Satisfaction

Is your life blessed? Many of us would say “yes.” For some of us, it depends on the day! In the Beatitudes (Matthew 5), Jesus promises a blessed life characterized by the life of those who value him above all else. The Beatitudes sound like a simple formula for blessing but they are not a formula, they are a result. Join us Sunday as we untangle words like “blessed,” “righteous,” and “satisfaction” (Matthew 5:6) from the cultural knot that has entrapped them and bring them back to Jesus’ intent.
