Moriah
Moriah was born and raised here in Kansas City, Missouri. She has worked or volunteered with kids since middle school. However, with a dream of becoming an event planner, serving as more than a volunteer at a church never crossed her mind. Even though she didn’t know it, God had been preparing Moriah for this position.
After serving on staff part-time for a few years, Moriah joined us full-time in January 2021. As the Briarcliff Kids Coordinator, she leads volunteers in providing fun and safe environments for kids in their understanding of Jesus. She also gets to utilize her event planning passion to create events that bring our church and community together. Moriah loves getting to be a partner and cheerleader for parents as they raise and disciple their kids. One of her favorite things is seeing physical, mental, and emotional growth in a child.
When not at the church, you can find Moriah hanging out with her family, chasing a sunset (on a kayak when possible), or on the couch with a dog.
