Creation of Man/Woman
Genesis is a fascinating and extremely important book to read and understand. Why? It gives us the basic and foundational truths of our existence. We learn the foundational doctrines (teachings) of Christianity. In the very first part of Genesis, we learn about the nature of a triune God, the world he created, about ourselves as his unique creation, about sin and salvation by grace, marriage, and the purpose of life. All this is packed in the first verses of Genesis. This Sunday we will focus on the uniqueness of who we are as human begins. If we don’t get this right, we will never get life right.
