Cosmic Conflict
You have probably heard the phrase “The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.” That is important to keep in mind as you read and study Revelation. Distractions are abundant and can cause you to miss the main thing. As we unpack this next installment of Revelation, it is crucial to keep the main thing the main thing and the main thing is a person. As you read, ask yourself, “So what?” So, what is the main thing? So, what do I understand and what am I to do?” As we make this journey through the mystifying book of Revelation, we want to learn more of what it means but, even more importantly, to know the main thing (Jesus) better. This letter gave the recipients a greater and divine understanding of Jesus and how to follow him. It is given to us for the same purpose.
