God Given Vision for Briarcliff
Do you ever think about how many doors you walk through every day? Your house has many doors – garage door, front door, back door, closet door, and the list goes on. Many times, the bible uses doors as metaphors. Jesus used the door metaphor when he said, “I am the door,” or “I stand at the door and knock.” To the church in Philadelphia, he said, “I placed before you an open door.” This has a relevant message for us today as we celebrate our church anniversary. It’s a time to consider the doors he is opening for us as a church and as individuals. Our destiny depends on being alert to an open door and not missing it.
