Praying in Community
We can learn a lot about a Praying Church from the early followers of Christ. It was a common practice for them to Pray in Community. That will be the focus of our next installment in this series. We will unpack insights from Acts 1-2. We will learn 1) What is praying in community? 2) How do we pray in community? and 3) Why is praying in community important? This is much more than opening or closing our meetings or group in prayer. There is a tremendous power in Praying in Community that may be easily missed. It was this kind of community that the Holy Spirit worked through that ultimately captured the Roman Empire with the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is the same power needed today to change our culture. It all begins as it did in the early church, with a Praying Church that is devoted to Praying in Community.
