Introduction
The hope of redemption through Jesus Christ is rooted in the first few pages of our Bible. In Genesis we see the glory of God revealed in a creation that is given to men and women to steward for the flourishing of all humanity. We see a gracious God proclaim the plan of gospel redemption in the immediate face of selfish rebellion. We see a faithful and covenant-keeping God that never flinches from our repeated failures. We see a God determined to fulfill the promises of Eden and heal the brokenness of sin through the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.
In Genesis we see gospel beginnings.
